How I grew a Dubai repair site to 3 million impressions — every decision explained
In early 2025 I started working on the SEO for milaaj.ae — a device repair company in Dubai offering laptop, MacBook, mobile, and console repair with free pickup and delivery across the UAE. They had a great service. Almost no organic presence.
Before anything else I ran a full technical audit. The site had no structured content for device × location combinations, minimal internal linking, and no schema markup for local business or service pages.
The opportunity was clear: repair is a long-tail goldmine. "iPhone 14 screen repair Dubai Marina." "MacBook pro battery replacement Jumeirah." Thousands of searches with real intent — and most results occupied by generic directories.
Device type × repair type × location = a page for each combination. Each page answers a specific search. Each links to related pages. The whole thing builds topical authority over time.
Publishing 175 pages means nothing if Google doesn't index them. I built a Node.js script that automatically submitted new URLs to the GSC URL Inspection API as pages were published — getting pages indexed within days instead of weeks.
The CTR at 0.7% is the next thing to fix. Meta descriptions and title tag optimisation is ongoing. But the fundamentals work: impressions are enormous, rankings are climbing, and the traffic is real intent-driven traffic.
Start CTR optimisation earlier. It's easy to focus on rankings and forget that every impression not converting is a customer your competitor gets. I'd run title tag tests from month one alongside the content build.
